Pharmacy cake is a drugstore-themed cake that is a collaboration between pharmacist extraordinaire (and former Google employee) Chris Ghelfi and cake artist James Allen. The recipe comes from the aforementioned, but rather than baking it as an actual cake, I’m baking it in my kitchen with a few other ingredients I happened to have on hand. The result is a cake that tastes just like a pharmacy, but isn’t really a pharmacy.

Because the recipes involved in this recipe are actually pretty cool, I decided to share them with you. They are, in my opinion, a great way to start building your own cake, so you can learn how to make a cake that even starts to look good and still makes a bit of noise.
