It’s a common misconception that there is a difference between pharmacy and drug stores. While there is a difference, it is still a store, they are not a pharmacy. The same can be said for drug stores and pharmacies.
There are two types of pharmacies in the USA, prescription and over-the-counter. Prescription pharmacies dispense prescription drugs and treat them to keep them in check. The other types of pharmacies dispense non-prescription drugs, which can be used to treat the symptoms or side effects of a prescription.
Pharmacies are not legal. While they are legal in the state of California, they are illegal in some states. However, they have been getting a lot of attention lately. In California, the sale of pharmacies for sale in a grocery store is against the law. The same thing goes for pharmacies that are legally sold to consumers, but are only intended for use by prescription.
